Title: dash light upgrades?

Does anyone know what type of bulb and how many are fitted in a Mk2 GTI dash panel?
i want to try and upgrade to led's if i can, but need to know which bulbs?
Any ideas.

Those wont fit very well, as you can see the lugs to hold the bulbs in place are directly over the contacts.  On a MK2 the lugs need to be offset to the lugs if you get me :(

But you have to modify the housings a little, theres a little lug which stops the bulb twisting far enough, you just cut this off and you're away :)

Make sure you test the cluster before you put the dash back together as LEDs only work 1 way round.
