Title: Bell Housing Bolt size, any ideas?

Hey Guys,

I'm missing the bolt that secures the bottom of the sandwich plate (thin plate that sits between engine and gearbox) onto the lowest point on the bell housing. does anyone know what size and length it is? as I can't find it on ETKA. I called up vw and bloke thought it was an M7x12, but I tried one and had no joy.

yeah they're M7x12, if the one you had didnt fit either it wasnt M7 or the threads in the box have pulled out

To check the bolt just remove one that's already fitted and line the threads up and see if they fit together :afro:

That's if you didnt already know lol!
