Erm, red paint?

Alot of people like hammerite.

I would go for some red high temperature paint.

Preferably enamel. Depends, how well you want to do the job though, red hammerite would be easiest way.

Hammerite ftw but I would leave all the bolt on parts in silver or black to be honest.

If do the main colour as black and have bits of red on it, maybe whole block black then power steering pump waterpump red etc. you need to keep the red block squeeky clean, with black you wouldnt need to worry as much. up to you though.

Ad said keep the bolts normal colour, or have them red on the block and black on the pumps etc, if going for the combo i said or just plain silver!¬

Normal Hammerite is fine, but if you don't *thoroughly* clean the grease off the block, it will peel off within a year or two.

Have it sprayed in 2K topcoat tornado red, doesn't get any better than that...

engine blocks don't exactly get hot.   most will never get hotter than 120   and if it gets to 150 your not worried about the paint
