After getting my springsfittedon Friday, while driving home my traction control would kick in randomly :undecided: sometimes the light would flash up on the dash sometimes not. Car just feels a little weird while driving, like it has a wee mind of it own so going to book it in somewhere else to have a 4 wheel laser alignment done this week to see if that helps. Has anyone had any experience with the traction control coming on or maybe explain why it would after lowering the car. Seems very weird to me?

Have heard about this issue before as it happens. There was lots of suggestions like "are you sure you havent hit the TC button by accident" but I think that if you had you would probably know Kenny.
Think it ended up being a problem with the TC... although I am sure someone will be along shortly to set me right

I must be very stupid, really. I have an ESP button. Where is the traction one? Please don't laugh, please.
-
Still does it with the traction off. ESP is the on/off traction.

Does your ABS work ok still?
When it was lowered maybe theres a bad contact on the ABS sensor plug.
-
That sounds like it could be that. Not tried the ABS, not been in the situation. Where is the sensor Snoopy?

I replied in the other thread.
When I lowered mine, it also upset the xenon headlights. They were pointing straight into the ground and only lit around 20ft infront of the car. The first time the car was at the dealer, they said the lights were fine but it was up again a couple of weeks ago and they reset them. They are fine now.
I think this was something to do with the self-levelling sensor on the front arm of the car being upset when the springs were fitted, possibly the same has happened with your traction control?
