What do the valvers normally achive in an ideal situation at santa pod ?.

I may be running mine up next weekend, I have an 87 Gti 16v , It has a stainless manifold and Cams i beleve , She will also be gutted for this :D.

Standard they run about 16.5. Depending on your cams I would expect somewhere from late 15's upwards.

Sounds pretty cool , What have you done to yours ?.

Bit different from my normal 14 but probably more fun lol.

Nothing. :grin:

One of it's owners in the 90's however spent £3.5K on engine work. 1.9 bottom end, head, modded manifolds, highlift cam, lightened flywheel, custom mapping etc.

I see , That would explain your 15.4  pretty good going ! , Not far off my old leon and you would muller her in the corners happy days :D.

Let us know what you get when you get back. I take it it's GTI Summer Festival? I quite fancy going, ,my 15.4 was done at springfest this year, but my mate is racing in the Mini Challange that weekend and I'm going to be cheering him on.

Nope just a run what you brung, Was going to take the S3 However she needs a new clutch :( and i still want to go lol.
