Title: handbrake light wont go out

mk2 90 8v, handbrake light wont go out, tried doing the switch manually but nothing happems??
is this a knackered switch or are there sensors on the rear discs 2??

the sensor is under the handbreak cover. that one could be f**ked

Nah, it will be the cap on the brake fluid reservoir, that will be f**ked. Test it by unplugging the wiring connector.

i tried the switch under the handbrake it dont make a difference to it, will try the cap asap cheers guys
