Continuing my saga with my aircon, having just had the aircon serviced on my 58 plate I thought it was much improved. However it's been a warmer day today and it still seems to be taking around 5mins until it blows cold air.
Would appreciate some feedback from other owners on this - is it just a "characteristic" of the GTI or do I need to hassle the dealer further?
All previous cars I've owned have blown cold air pretty much straight away (30 secs max)
Thanks
Simon

Pretty quick <30secs. '08 Dutch spec GTI.
(Higher spec than UK, might have a more powerful aircon)

Depends on the ambient temperature of the car but the air should be cold in under a minute. Mine was a few mins till it was regassed so now it's much quicker

as above, cold from 30 secs, icy from 60 secs in this weather

With the car standing out in the sun for 10 hours, just under two mins. Less if the car's been in the shade.
