Post by: Waffs1984 on 08 July 2010, 13:40
Well thats me sorted for another year - unknown to me none of my brakelights were working when i took it in on Monday - quick £9.56 brakelight switch from the parts desk and a 5 min fiddle under the dash and re-test = WIN this morning. No adviseries or anything either which is always good!

Yeah as above - they have a light source and detector and the amount that passes through has to exceed a certain limit. Similar to what the cops use when they pull you over to check - not that i'd know, never had tints!

Apparently your windscreen and fronts have to let 75% of light through, rear windows don't matter....
