Title: automatic gearbox

does any1 know if a autobox from a bora will fit a golf? my 1.6 golf box is grinding in pull away gear, as soon as it shifts up its fine though. so looking to cure the problem before it gives up. any advice welcome.

As long as it is the same engine it will fit.

Have you replaced the oil and cleaned the suction filter.

no only just got the car. will try that. as i say its ok once it is out of the pull away gear. do u think this could be it then?
