I have had a fault for a couple of weeks now with intermittent power loss and have another thread open on here about it. t has got worse these last coiuple of days. On the way to my friends how to run VCDS on it i lost all power, I think i lost all turbo power!. :undecided:

Try disconnecting the MAF and see if that makes any difference.

What mods/tune have you got and have you had any changed recently or service done at VW?
Clue for me would be the loss of electrical signal for the fuel pump. If the ecu spotted this then it would certainly cut power as it would think that you have no fuel supply even if you have fuel pressure.
