Are you running both at the same time?

Do you have more than one policy with NCB on it?

You'll find your NCB generally only covers a single policy, although they'll normally give you a discount if you have a second policy with NCB.

If it's a second policy and your first time running two cars then you're starting from (discounted) scratch on the NCB again.

Yeah that sounds a bit pricey. The Polo is £190 with 3 years NCB.

the quote was for the pug on its own with 7yrs ncb, the golf is on a classic policy and not using any of my ncb's

For some strange reason I have found small cars seem to have shot up in insurance costs.

When I went from the BMW 5 series to the Fiesta it cost me £110 a year, it made no sense to me.

When I was looking this year a Cilo 1.4 or Pugeot 206 1.4 were dearer than the Mondeo
