Title: headliner re trimming ?
Post by: godsANGER on 05 July 2010, 23:25
If i wanted to re-trim my head liner with a material how would i go about doing this can you just take it out spray a fabric glue on and just put the new material on it?

If so is there a guide on here on how to remove the headlining, pilers etc?

Thanks

rear lights, sorted just need guides for front light non-sunroof, grab handles but think they well be simple same as the sunvisors. its the removal of the the head lining and pilers i think well be a pain.

I am going to re fabric the headlining and pilers, and i was just going to remove the strips from round the door frames and spray them black [may have to re trim them if the fabric sprays not good] and spray the plastics a mat black  grab handles, centre light etc.

What glue did you use ? just so i keep away from it  lol

i left the foam on mine, just covered it with the material, but i have read some people have striped it back to the backing. i didnt want to risk killing the headliner.
