Got me aum being mobile mapped tomorrow by rtech and hopefully it will be ok and code free !!!! also getting a 04 transporter tdi130 and an a4 3ltr quatro done at same time :smiley:

much better now :smiley: should of been like that from the factory ! talk about torque steer now :smiley: didnt seem as quick this morning in 1st and 2nd compared to yesterday but will keep an eye on .
4th and 5th on carrageway now just keeps pulling and pulling and you need to watch the speedo as it gets there a lot quicker !
just need to upgrade brakes now as there not man enough . what do you reccomend without spending hundreds ?

The 312mm brake upgrade seams to be worth it.

as in just front discs and pads needed ? what are the standard size ?

What motor do you have atm? GTI 150?
You need the carriers, pads and disks. Standard on there are 288mm for most MK4s.

Also if you think your car isnt running as good today as it was yesterday. Then maybe check your boost pipes are all still connected, they can pop off easily once the car has been mapped due to increased boost pressure

Brakes, its all down to how much you want to spend, remember your brakes are only as good as your tires!
Another thing to consider is it to coupe with your power now or are there any other long term power gains you are looking for such as 260bhp+
I use mintex 288 discs and pads, with some uprated castrol brake fluid followed by all steel braided hoses *back and front*, the difference is brillaint, no spongyness, and the braking is sharp.
As for your power, remember, humidity and temperture also effect your performance, Such as earlier this year on the roads it just pulled and pulled in comparison to this weather. So do expect the performance and response to keep shifting all round the year, unless its really effecting performance, such as rough idle/stalling or no boost then its a pipe loose somehwere.

power is fine just seemed a bit down but is still there .
nick did say on road test that its a bit laggy in the midrange and i should do that n75 bypass and that should sort it .
