Title: MK3 - CD player not remembering things

I've recently put in a Kenwood head unit in to my car, it wouldn't remember anything so i switched the Red / Yellow wires over, this solved the problem until i switch it off and back on again, it has blown 3, 10amp fuses, ive had to switch it back because it keeps blowing them. anybody got any advise? thanks

ok so i totally worked this out! the remote wire was earthing itself and blowing the fuse!
