Title: Question about Cabrio Roofs
Post by: Jimp on 03 July 2010, 12:54
For those of you with mk3 cabrios, how does the roof hold up during the winter?  I don't know anything about cabrio roofs and was wondering if there is a lot of ice could the roof split or crack easily.

the roofs are able to deal with all kinds of weather, you just need to take care of it and keep it clean. you can get special stuff for both mohair and vinyl roofs to  keep them suple and tip top, if you let em dry out and leave for years they start to crack.  if its any help at all i used my MK1 cabby all thru last winter and even when the snow got to several inches thick or however much it was in bracknell the hood coped with it just fine :)
