Title: Rust Busterr

right ive just grinded away some rust on my dented wing as a bit of practice

all went well, primed it and sprayed it flash red like the whole wing is, but the bit i sprayed is like a matt not flash

how do i get the shiny sort of finished the rest of my car has??

what paint u using ?

u need to give it its clear top coat? u done that ?

halfords mix up, err done 2 coats primer and 3 flash red and 2 laquer

doesnt seem to be even close to glossy though =/

nothing worse that having a car that doesnt colour match

flatted after each coat then wet colour flatted after the last colour coat?

+ good machining polishing, out of cans you will never get a perfect finish

Sanding down with high-grade sand paper, like 2500 or 3000, between spraying/laquering.

You might just need a clear coat.

Halfords sell that stuff too.

aero lacquer never gives a good shine... you need to put it through a gun to get any where close to gloss look
