here is my project the dirty d .

some things i have done are.

change the suspension
four new doors
two new wings
bonet
roof rubbers
rev counter - from germany proper rare not ebay rare  :grin:
dash
power steering rack
break lines
rear engine mount
sunroof
interior
steering wheel
wheels for the summer

just changed the rear bumper to this

looks good that mate... didnt know they did a GTD on a mk2, are the leathers standard!?

as far as i know only 500 mk2 gtd`s were made for the uk so quite rare.
the leather was my upgrade i always wanted leather seats in my golf

at first i was like WHOAAAA were did he get that from for £1.04  then i stoped bein a compleate mong and realised what you ment :grin: :grin:

Yup still got it, it's not sick - it's fooked  :lipsrsealed:  :cry:

You may want to avoid large puddles, fords, Doctors driving Merc's, bumpy roads...

I'm on the look out for a cheap SB or AAZ. Failing that it will go GTI eventually.

a small update  i fitted a new front engine mount as you can see the old one was gone
