over the weekend I took the beast out and when in traffic or at low revs its stalled everytime, sometimes i had to open the bonnet and let it cool down before I could restart it, then it was fine. Im thinking maybe induction kit causeing it to get a bit hot, plus I have a bit of a dodgy ISV it either works or not. Any ideas..

Check your water pump? Check your rad? Basically check the whole cooling system I guess if its overheating! Check the radfan kicks in at the right time, thermostat sticking possibly?
Clean the ISV out or get a working one to start with :)

if it's k jet check the accumalator

I had the the similar prob, got over 90c and boof! cut out. Wouldn't start again until it had cooled down.
Turned out to be a faulty 5th injector/ WUR being jammed on. Changed WUR and problem disappeared.
Having said that I have replaced the waterpump/ISV too previously.
How's your fuel consumption?
