Title: Hello to all - Newbie here

HI folks - Was doing a quick search on the net for common faults on the MkIV GTI and stumbled upon this mighty useful lookin forum......

Have just bought a MKIV GTI (150hp) 1999 on a 'T' plate, which as I suspected due to age wear and tear and all that has a couple of minor issues which I expected to come across as time goes on....so hopefully you guys and a bit of searching can get the niggles sorted without me wanting to take a hammer to the little beauty..... :grin:

Back in the day (Before Wife and kids!) I had owned a couple of MKII GTI's, the first being a 1986 8V in white and the second being a nice 1991 16V in Oak green..hhmmmnn

any help will be greatly appreciated,
