Hello I'm new can you help.

I have recently bought a mark 3 8v golf gti p plate with 54k on clock full service in peppermint green is this a rare colour i have only seen 5 doors mines a 3 door. Also i am thinking off taking off the front a back black arch trim of can anyone advise me on this i have seen it done in PERFORMANCE VW mag will the paintwork take much to get to polishing standard.Also the car came with morette twin headlight conversion with full electrics i have put original lights on but i want to sell them any offers welcomed. ?

Welcome to the site matey, I would suggest that you post a similar method in both the cosmetics and garage sections, may get more people looking there.
