Title: Upgrading Mk3 Speakers
Post by: Chew22 on 30 June 2010, 16:10
Hi Guys,

I was wondering how much of a sound improvement I would get from upgrading my standard 3 door gti speaks from the doors and back, to reasonably decent ones. I have a 50Watt JVC headunit. I used to  have 6x9's in my old car, but want to avoid then on the Golf but still get some improved sound.

Also, anyone recommend any?

I have a set of pioneers in the from and infinity components in the back and the sound is great - nice and bassy without the sub in and super bass when the sub is in!

What kind of budget you looking at?

I'm not to sure. Just brought a cd'less digital media headunit. Maybe £100 for the 4 speakers??
