Here's a weird one. The past two evenings I've pulled up on my drive after a 13-mile journey home from work, and when I've removed the key from the ignition it was quite warm - almost hot to touch. The trim arrond the steering column was also quite warm in the ignition area. No brown smells of burning electrics or anything, but rather odd. Anyone else come across this?

not noticed my key being warm (will check tonight), but I was surprised how hot the end of the front wings were!...both of them. And the gas strut that keeps the bonnet up when you open it was too hot to handle!...amazed how warm it gets under there
