I've been away from this forum for a while. My front tyres are really on their last legs, so I thought I would just replace the lot pretty soon. It's currently on Dunlop SP SPORT tyres.
Is there any consensus as to what are the best tyres? Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetrics? Michelin? Other? I was looking at buying them online maybe. The Goodyears seem to be classed as summer tyres. Can anyone tell me what this really means? If I put these on now, does it mean I'd have to change them for the winter?
Thanks for any advice!

I fitted Goodyear F1 Assymetrics on the front about a month ago: since done 2,500 miles, including a trip to Le Mans through some torrential rain.
Very impressed, good in the dry, nice feel, excellent in the wet.
I have Michelin PS2s on the rear: they're not bad either. I had Dunlop SP9000s on the front before: they were terrible. Got rid even though there was plenty of tread left.

I've always used f1s and find them brilliant, although the new ps3s are getting very good reviews at the moment.

yes the new michelins are an absolutely superior tyre

Fallen FK452's are good for the money or Conti Sport Contact 3's are also good but my experience was they don't last very long
