Title: Are Cherry Bombs any good?
Post by: Evoss on 29 June 2010, 22:14
Hey,

Wanted to give the GTI a bit more roar, rather then it giving me the silent treatment. Looked online and people talking about cherry bombs. Around £30-£50.

Opions Please.

Thaks

simplest way to put it is if you wear burbery caps and fake gold go for it lol. its what all the little chavy kids put on there punto's round my way. you should only change the exhaust for performance really, theyll do f**k all being a farty back box. just make it sound like summert its not which is why chavs do it round my way because they know bugger all about cars but know its loud enough to attract some 13 year old girls outside mcdonalds. Go for a miltek or something

christ... I haven't heard of cherry bombs in about 15 years... I remember looking at these in halfords or some other dire place for 'upgrades' when I first started driving in the early 90's!

go for it... please... just do it... it would be a quality laugh to have a video of it!

Only worth it if you have something worth hearing under the hood.

They're really small, and really light-weight compared to most boxes I've come across - they can also make a right racket if there's no other boxes involved! Probably something to do with the fact that you can see straight through them...
