Title: Hot or not.......
Post by: TagnuT on 29 June 2010, 22:10
I like the power, some of the graphics. Not a great fan of the wheels though....

Looks awful and not much power? Seeing as its an S3 engine they would have simply put a filter, a free flowing exhaust and mapped it for that. 370+ is easy so odd they didnt bother?

I'd take it over an ABT Golf GTI:

Still, that's not saying much.

Wonder where they got the inspiration for an even hotter more track focused hot hatch variant and colour scheme

I think the red is a tad garish but the GTI.:R style graphics are pretty nice... although I liked the carbon on black application on the GTI.:R more than the black on silver.

For me a car like that is all about being 'Q'... which this is not.

Be great to drive though...

ABT should really stick to engine modifications.....they did top notch on my car

They are incredibly poor designers...I have never ever seen a proper ABT sporty look...

This car  looks like it has just run over a pasture with cows.....

Also, it's a poor photo.  Background is distracting.

Not a lover of "pimped" Golfs full stop.  The whole idea of tarting up one of the purest forms of the art of the car is wrong.

Similar to middle aged ladies who try to look "hip" by wearing alternative dress they just end up looking like drag queens!

Now that is spot on !!!
Those wheelcolours indeed appeal to toddlers...

BTW they imitate Porsche without a shame...but even on Porsche they look......
