When i was driving yesterday i felt a shudder below 2k RPM anytime i accelerated, it seemed to be worst in the higher gears.
Yesterday was the first time it rained since i got the car so i thought it might be something to do with the wet road surface but the shudder is still there slightly today (which is a dry day)
Anybody know what might be causing this?

Could be the traction control system kicking in, are you getting a yellow light flash on the dash?
-
Nope im not getting the yellow light, i turned off the traction control and accelerated and the shudder seemed less tho..
-
Get it back to the dealers ASAP mate?? Something not right??
-
Yeah, when i was driving into work this morning it was still slightly damp on the ground, its definetly dry outside now and if the shudder is still there im gonna bring it in so they can hav a look.
-
Keep us posted , let us know how you get on?

Could be something loose in the drive train, possible on a drive shaft. As already recommended, get it back to dealer asap.

I have no warning lights or anything up on the dash, its a bit unusual..once i get over 2k rpm everything seems to be fine

Sounds a bit like an issue I had on my B6 Passat.
Turned out to be the dual mass flywheel.

What causes a shudder in a GTD?
The tractor-like engine!! Bazinga!!
Couldn't resist - I'll get my coat
-
Im bringing it to the dealers on monday morning to get it sorted out, shouldnt be a big job hopefully..
-
Manual or DSG? and also is it hard acceleration or just light accerelation, I think people think you are ramping it and spinning the wheels.

Dammit FamilyDub, you beat me to it. That's exactly what I was going to say!!!
Is this shudder accompanied by a loud tractor like noise and the whole car vibrating by any chance?
Couldn't resist - I'll get my coat

Only light acceleration, manual
-
Oh dear doesn't sound good under light acceralation, get in there and complain. Maybe they will tell you its normal like the rattly gearbox issue that they all have once warm.
