Title: Electrical Issue

Hi I`ve been reading this forum for a while now and wondered if anyone could help.
Was out in my 06 GTI over the weekend and noticed the lane change indicator wasn`t working and also the toggle switch on the wiper stalk now does nothing.
I`ve had a fault code reader today and it came up with some codes about the indicators, cleared them and it worked for a while but now has stopped again, seems to work when it wants to. We couldn't find anything on the computer toggle switch though.
Anyone got any ideas?

may possibly be the steering wheel/ column control unit playing up mate, this control unit will control both the stalks and when your clearing the codes its saying to itself its working again until it realised its an intermittent fault.

either that, or possibly both stalks are on there way out

Ah right cheers mate, any idea how much the stealers would charge to replace it?
