Title: mk4 gti speedo does'nt illuminate?

hi there' i've just bought a gti turbo Treg & my speedo does'nt light up?   :sad: & the digital clock beneath it is very dim.. does anybody know if its a case of a blown bulb? or would the whole unit need replacing? any help would be gr8! thanks.

welcome  :cool: stupid question but you have got the dimmer switch turned right up havn't you?

thanks' yes the others are fine although my heater control lights were also out but sorted that1 from another thread its just the speedo on the right & the clock below?

ahh ok sounds like an led out or summit but not sure if they are replacable
