Title: 00575 fault code
Post by: Wazzzer on 23 June 2010, 14:51
I've had this fault code pop up after a quick log this afternoon and I can't find any info on it apart from it relating to the MAP sensor (which I don't have )

Any ideas? I could hear pre det on the last run so I think they are linked?

Edit: just found this, doesn't sound good  :sad:

  00575 - Intake Manifold Pressure: Control Limit Exceeded
Possible Symptoms

    * Sudden complete loss of Power
    * Reduced Power
    * Charge Pressure too High

Possible Causes

    * Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective
    * Turbo Charger defective

Possible Solutions

    * Check Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
    * Check Basic Setting > MVB 011

Here is the log from said run too

Anyone see anything untoward?

I would have a look at the pipes around the N75$. When i had this code come up on mine it was a split pipe from the N75 back to the turbo inlet.
Hope that helps buddy :)

need the csv dude you can't learn much from a vscope plot without labels

Which variation of 00575 are you getting as there are 3? exceeded/not reached/control difference. Sorry to say it's the agu equivalent of 17705 and all the over/underboost codes all rolled in to one :grin: the logs might help pinpoint it a bit

nice one mate I'll have a good look around it later

Toph I thought I had saved the logs at the same time as the graph but it seems not (serves me right for trying to operate the laptop while driving up the road  :grin:)

I'll have a good poke around later, just what I need though lol

have you already tried replacing any parts or sensors yet? i can't remember where you got up to with this

the code has only shown up today which coincided with the pre det I heard on the same run.

Not seen over 16psi today apart from the last run which this showed up on. I have a few more N75 valves in the shed, they're C's but I can at least try them out and see what I come up with. The one on there is a brand new F...

Are there any other sensors I can look at?

Other than that it may be a boost leak as you said above... but would that cause the pinking?

maf sensor can cause the code too.. but wouldnt imagine it would cause pinking. combination of crap fuel and hot weather/high intake temps perhaps? Pull the iat sensor and give it a clean or try swapping if you have a spare

ok mate will give it a clean, yes you're right that may have caused the pinking, it was fecking hot down here today

Saw 66 degrees at 4720 in 3rd today on the intake side but that's where my logs went wrong  :rolleyes:

Point me in the right direction for the sensor please mate, can't be arsed to read the Haynes lol

on the inlet manifold next to the throttle body, one 5mm allen bolt holds it in

The AGU ecu works out the boost in terms of load, basedon maths mathmatics displacment, air maf drawn and intake temp =  peak cylinder load or cylinder filling in *ms.  An over reading maf scale will can read as too much boost/load or a AIT sensor fault will offset the readings and still cause overload reading.

The upper limit load cap in our k03s aug maps is set to 11.5ms and the MAF drawn limit id maxxed out.

Do an excell log of the requested boost and actual boost, and maf and post them up, plus make a note of the intake temps.

will do a proper log 2moro when the roads are a bit clearer, damn daytime drivers were in the way today lol

I'll post it up 2moro. Might have your work cut out Nick  :grin:

Just hope nothing is majorly wrong that won't let me get it mapped though  :sad:
