Any gloss black paint will give you a finish like that, though let me warn you, I did it to my front badge and it looks sh1t. Halfrauds sell plenty of spray paints, primers, wet & dry paper, etc that you would need.

The issue with a gloss finish is the contrast between the vivid black badge and the slightly greyed grill, so you would either have to paint the whole grill , or it needs to be in good nick.

Someone once said (Stealthwolf?) that a wee spray of WD40 keeps the grill black, but can weaken the plastic...

Not trying to put you off though..........  :undecided:

Use 3m gloss vinyl. Won't chip and you can take it off when you sell

Yes wD40 is great for reblackening plastics. I barely use the stuff for anything else. But someone told me off and said it can weaken plastics.

You can get products like black wow which blacken black plastic and protect it too. Plus they don't damage the plastic with repeated applications.

Any local signmaker will have gloss black 3m vinyl in stock. You want external grade that usually lasts 3-5yrs and is mouldable with a hot hairdryer to get it to go around the edges smoothly. Alternatively there's a guy selling 3m carbon fibre effect vinyl in square patches for £3 a shot that would do the job nicely.......
