Title: A few interior enquiries:
Post by: Jack3559 on 23 June 2010, 01:30
I noticed the other day that my headlining was peeling away at the front.

How can I replace the headlining? I was thinking of doing it in black... I don't even know where to start looking to buy some!

Also, I saw on here the other day, someone had anni clocks in their mk3 golf with blue illuminated dials and red illuminated needles, could I do that on a mk3 estate and if I can, where do I find the parts and how do I do it?

Thanks!

The headlining is usually sprayed black from a can from a few I have read on here. You also have to do the pillar trims etc to get it looking nice. Then most on here just apply some sort of glue on to it to stick it back. As for the clocks do yours go up to 140 mph as the Anni clocks you want go upto 140 from an 8v or 160 from a 16v. I bought mine off here for 25 quid and the lights are easy to change to blue.

Yeah, the speedo reads up to 140, but the revs read up to 6!

Wayne pointed out that it might not all be accurate, I might have to have a little tinker to see what I can do.
