Hello all,
Ive been avidly reading posts for a while now, and thought its about time I did one of my own. Despite working through a few things on my late mk2 8v, ive not needed anything answered that I couldnt find on here already- very comprehensive site. Love the project threads (particularly impressed with the efforts of phil88- no fear)
My car is a running project really, that is, I like to use it on the weekends/evenings, so I dont want it in bits for weeks at a time- despite the temptation to do a full rebuild and create a minter! I can see how some end up with multiple golf's! I try to do as much of the work myself as I can, but allow limited equipment and experience to justify having 'bigger' jobs done by a local chap who does a lot of work on rally cars, and he's keen on mk2's so its all good.
When im not burning v-power on the many fun backroads in Dumfries and Galloway, or tinkering, ill be in the forest on a bike. So anyone interested in riding/driving the lesser known trails/roads of D&G feel free to get in touch....
Once again- Hello!
Rob

Get yourself into the MK2 section and start asking questions if you need any help with things. Enjoy.
