Title: Handling not so good.
Post by: Judderi on 23 December 2004, 12:27
I have transplanted my KONI coil overs from my old golf to my new. However the new one does not seem to handle as good or feel as solid on the road. Any suggestions people. Do i need to replace all the bushes for polly ones?

replace the wishbone bushes with poly items and replace the rear beam bushes with VAG items

Trychecking your rear trailing arm bushes.

If you try and push the rear wheels left a right (as you look at it)
any play and these make the car handle like a reliant robin.

My right rear has just gone and the car is well sloppy to drive.

Same for the from crontrol bush and steering arms.

EDIT:

Sorry didnt read your reply gambit....
