Get some 16v rear lights on and you're sweet. :)
-
Wow - a stripped VR6. How ironic.
It must properly handle like a lumphammer.
-
my thoughts are the same with the back lights i dont like, im going to change them,i have a set of standars ones, ill put them on till i get the 16v ones, and thanks for the comments im going to post more pictures later on today when i clean under the bonnet,

I want one!
And as for the handling, not all of us tear up Brands/Coombe/wherever.
Enjoy it mate, looks pretty smart

sand bags in the boot, spread the weight
my battery has been moved to the boot to help spread the weight front to rear (that VR6 lump is a heavy beast) BUT it doesnt help the weight right to left

If you want to evenly distribute the weight - roof mount the engine.

Looks tidy mate!
Next step charger... ?
-
Does look great now youve cleaned her up and replaced a couple of bits... seats look OK but i would miss adjustment though???
you wanna bang this thread in dub rides and or project pages.
-
no im not doing nothing to engine quick enough for me, going to get rid of them seats, may be swop some one for a full trim?? if there is any body wanting them?.
-
If you're interested in the handling you need to get some of that weight out of the front - put the battery and the washer bottle in the boot..... and anything else that'll move.
-
how is this done mate? i would do it
-
rip the battery cabling out of an early BMW, its heavy guage, long enough to go to the boot (as BMW batteries are in the boot) and has a nice terminal block that you can use in the engine bay. the terminal block has 4 terminals on it and a point for jump starting (so you dont have to jump start in the boot)
my battery and washer bottle are in the boot, but the plan is to make a false floor in the boot, and move the battery etc away from its current home of the drivers side - if you can imagine most of the engine weight is on the drivers side. plus the driver sits on this side, plus sticking the battery on this side = fail!

i need seats for my mk1 if they would fit and were cheap enough!?... what would you sell them for?.. have a think because i am in no rush.

If your planning on running the battery in the boot it needs to be a sealed version.
