Title: Grab handles on mk4 n mk5

I know that I can change the grab handles to r32 et al for the mk4 but what about the mk5? Are they all one piece or can you re-rubber them or get something a little more robust? Don't want my GTi going the way of hers.

The mk4 drivers handles is looking the worse for wear as the missus had rings n nails!

The re-rubber route is my favoured option to keep it OEM

Do you mean the interior ones? As far as I know they are all that soft rubber  :sad: I've seen posts on vwvortex where people have sanded down the rubbery stuff and sprayed the handles anthracite or black.

Yeh the soft rubber interior ones. Bag of sh1te is what they are. Bloody hate em. No metal versions like the r32 mk4 ones then?
