Does anyone use this and what do they think?
I went into a well known large auto chain to grab some polish as I had run out - I had been using Autoglym super resin polish and was really impressed with it, so waslooking at getting some of that, but next to was the ultimate deep shine for about £1 more so grabbed that instead as it said it was good for darker colours.
Anyhoo got home, gave the car a quick over and cracked on with the polish. Not too impressed to be honest, hard to get off and when it does come off it leaves loads of marks that are really hard to buff out. I thought it was because I was using a cheap polishing cloth, so had another go today with an old cotton t shirt (I know I know not ideal, but they tend to work a treat) and had the same problem.
Once it's off and buffed it does look pretty nice, but glance at it side on and it looks pretty streaky :undecided:
Only thought is that it's designed to be used with a machine polisher which will get it off quicker - I haven't got one so was doing it by hand

have you clayed the car? and how much roughly are you applying to each panel etc.
if applyed to a hot panel it will bake on and be a mission to remove, if your paint hasnt been polished for a long time and has alot of contamination this can cause the polish to bond and again be a mission to remove.

Yep clayed pretty regularly - she's glassy smooth. Retried it couple of nights ago in the evening when it was cooler and same problem. Goes non streaky when buffed pretty overly hard, which makes me think its aimed more at the machine polish side of things, in comparison to the super resin polish which was really easy to get on and off

No worries man, will have a look on my laptop in a bit. Guy are you going on Thursday? I'm planning on doing a bit of a waxamomo buy in, so would like a chat through of what you find best to use if you got a spare 5 minutes? No worries if not

Had some light shed on this today after I spoke to the guy on the autoglym stand at inters. The ultra deep shine is harder to work as it actually has stuff in it which cuts the paint back, whereas the super resin is just polish. I picked up some super resin tother day and it is lirrrvly to use, but always use too much so run out quickly
