Title: Castrol Edge Turbo Diesel 5W-40 oil?

Is castrol Edge Turbo Diesel 5W-40 oil ok to use in my golf gt tdi 130?
also how much oil does it need for a oil change?

just go to vw and get some oil its alot cheaper than anywhere else. engine takes 4.5 litres

Yes it would be fine i use the same oil in my PD150 it is more expensive than oil from VW as you have to buy a 4 litre and a 1 litre but it is the best quality oil you can use IMO.

I use the 10-40w casterol edge, as said, is the best quality oil out there imo.

Quantum platinium is also a very good bet, made for PD engines :)
