Title: intercooler + dash lights
Post by: dellenty69 on 18 June 2010, 23:33
hello guys, just fitted a universal inter cooler kit, bought it for £50 so can't moan.

i bought the map sensor adaption tube from forge motor sport and fitted that in roughly the same place.

im awaiting on a few tubes and bends to make it neater as it is the one with the long pipe that goes up in behind the cooler and goes back on its self.

now problem, it is hitting 18psi in 3rd gear, but slightly less in other gears. and then it threw up my traction light, then after a 5mile run its flagged up my engine management light aswel. all runs fine (minus the boosting)

only thing i haven't connected back up is the out side temp sender, as this was in the bumper and i haven't put this back on yet.

i haven't been able to do a code reader yet as my laptop is down.

any light to be shed would be appreciated.

best regards
James
