Title: correct tyre size

currently running the standard 16" gti alloys, the tyres are 205/55/r16 are these the right size? just they're catching on my inner wheel arches  :sad:

yes they are. they shouldnt catch at all

thats what mine are on and i get no catching ?

when does it do it ? going over bump,s , or on full lock ?

On the brake pipes :0 not overly familiar with the layout on these but they should not be close enough to rub , ive seen it on other cars  where the tracking has been that far out that wheels have touched the inner arches but it would need to be a long way out to do that , broken spring perhaps , knackered lower arms ? need to get it on a ramp tbf matey

Are the brake pipes in the right place and not been twisted if the calliper has been removed? The wheel and tyre size is factory set up so you should get no rubbing at all...

no, everything is where it should be. had the wishbones, drop links and arb bushes done yesterday so will see what its like after i get it tracked up today.

def right size as remember looking at my spare when i removed it yesterday :)
