Title: torn between decisions.

need a bit of help deciding here guys, sold a few things that were not used to raise a bit of mod funds so should have about 100 spare or 200 if i wait a little longer.
would i gain much on a decat with a K03?.
my personal thoughts are that the extra tightness of the suspension will outweigh the little extra oomph that a decat would give anyway. (dont mean to answer my own question but youre the experts).
plus an old tuners saying is to sort the stopping and handling before you consider power... :tongue:
whats your views gentlemen and lasses?

if your still running standard i really wouldnt worry about a decat ive only just gone decat with a k04 upgrade or i prob wouldnt hav bothered

swapping back the cat for mot wouldnt be a problem but its probably not worth the hassle for the small gain as you say..

looking at your sig, you havent got a good exhaust system. I would either get a Miltek cat back system with a few extra pennies or like the other say ARB

thats right, exhaust is standard at the moment but i want to go a different route and build one myself from mild steel..

what i am finding with the hard setting is, it`s great in the dry and oversteers nicely. in the wet it just wants to let go and give a bit of understeer but what i can see is a better balance between over and understeer. this only suggests that my front tyres are sh!te. (i know they are as i bought budget ones just for the mot).

Are y'all talking about the front or rear ARB? Also is there a substantial difference between say the FK for £110 and the Neuspeed for £260? Surely a 23mm piece of metal shaped the same cant differ too much?
