I just got back of a 2 week holiday and now my valver wont start. The battery was flat so i tried starting with jump leads and it turns over but wont fire. Ive also tried bump starting it by towing but with no joy either. The only thing i noticed is that when it did one or twice fire the air intake hose collapsed on itself as if it was blocked at the injection meter system thing. Could this have seised shut or something?

hold it open but id check for spark and that the fuel relay is ok, had this before where the engine turned and turned and occacionaly kicked but wouldnt start as the relay was faulty wasnt getting any fuel.

I checked all 4 plugs for a spark and all are getting a strong spark. I also loosened the main fuel line and turned the ignition and fuel went everywhere so the pump is ok too. What do you mean by hold it open?

solved it the flap inside the air mass meter was jammed.
