Finally had the time to tool around with a few I took on Sunday - nothing too fancy, just some Lightroom meddling...

Finding it much easier to take decent pictures of the older cars, but got no idea how to make the watercooled stuff look interesting!  Need to get some inspiration from this part of the forum, I reckon!

How are you doing that enhancing mate?

Dunno how to explain it, everything is just more vibrant and the slight shading at the top. Makes the photos awesome.

Cheers.

The "shading" at the top is called vignetting. It's actually an effect originally created in the lens, but these days it tends to be added later in Photoshop. It focusses the attention on the centre of the image.

The rest I'd guess is probably just tweeking the colours (hue and saturation), temperature, and white balance.

Yeah, like DubFan said it's some heavy vignetting along with some Lightroom presets I picked up that try to emulate old slide film that gives very rich colour and clarity.  Nothing too special, just fiddling with some sliders!

even some of the stock pre-sets in LR produce some amazing effects.

I thing the Porsche shot is cracking :afro:
