Title: Electronic Throttle Response?????

Looking to replace the pipercross panel filter with an induction kit. looking at a Pipercross 'Velocity Intake System' in the link below, but what the hell is electronic trottle response?

I think it's to do with the throttle body as early 1.8T's had a cable throttle instead of fly-by-wire throttle.

mines a 2001 so im guessing the pipercross induction kit wont be compatible?  :undecided:

I don't see what difference it makes. Assuming yours is an aum you'll need a seperately 19mm breather filter for the secondary air
pump.

Electronic throttle has no throttle cable, or known as fly by wire.

I don't know if the kit would fit or not tbh. There might be different fittings on the fly-by-wire throttle? Someone from the mk4 section would know.
