hey guys im new to this so be nice hahahahah .......
sold my bmw 330 msport convertible today and i have decided to go buy a gti dsg
would be grateful if some of you guys could help me find the best places to look for a decent car...
dont want 5 door or a high mielage car but appart for that im not so fussy
thanks
-
ebay, autotrader, or pistonheads are all good places to start, i got mine of auto trader 2 months ago :)
-
ok thankyou.... been looking mostly on pistonheads but there are arent many decent dsg ones
-
Auotrader, Piston heads, I went and looked at about 6 DSG when i was buying, and only found 1 good one below £11K, and the one I found had quite a few miles on, but got it for £8500.00 and was A1 condition. It's a 2005 3 door DSG, so there is good deals to be had.
Good Luck

yeah i have seen a few rough looking ones and it seems like the only cheap ones are either red, have been damaged or are high mileage....
got about £11000 to spend so im going to spend all day 2moro looking online
really cant wait to get one !!!!
-
Red and white are the Nicest Eye candy GTi's. Find a good Red one and you wont regret it :smug:
-
i have been trying my best got find a white one, they are so much more expensive
would love a grey or black one tho....
 im getting excited now

Here's one but a few grand above your price range.
-
oh cheers for that mate
think i mailed about that when it was on pistonheads being sold privately
was a fair bit cheaper then
will give them guys a ring now
-
Thats where I got mine from last year. Service is excellent and cant be faulted.
-
ok thankyou, will check them guys out

That black gti looks fantastic. Looks like the ed30 body kit on it too, it may be my eyes but I don't think it has flappy paddles (nice to have on dsg) but not essentia, it was optional on early dsg'sl, it is however a bit pricey if you don't mind me saying, sure it's got low miles but is £14k and is a 2005! You could find a 2007/8 for that with good spec if you are patient. I'd want to check those wheels are oem too.... But only as you could be paying top dollar.
Just trying to help, good luck with your search.
