buying a headunit today, looked on the halfords website and they have the one i want for cheeper, result!

when i clicked the will this fit my car link it asks for year and if standard sony head unit is fitted.

sony make the gamma and beta radios right?

so does this just mean has it got the standard gamma radio or beta radio? or is there another kind of golf radio ive never come across?

Don't think sony make the mk4 platform head units, could be referring to the mk3 sony badged ones!

my OEM 6 disc changer was sony, cant remember what the make the gammer was

not sure who make the mk3 ones.

found out tho that the mk4 diskchangers are made by sony but the head units are made by blaupunkt
