Title: Hand polish paintwork repair
Post by: javalin on 11 June 2010, 21:39
So... I'm not confident to use the Megs 220 DA yet! (where's that polishing course... ?).  The poxy dog scratched a friends door panel on her A3/S3 (it has both badges on!?).  Girlfriend and I did a wash, clay, polish (by hand) and wax to repair the car damage and friendship!

Good result with Megs no.82 polish even by hand.  I used a megs foam pad and one of these http://www.monzacarcare.com/car-wax-applicators/monza-sponge-polish-applicator-pad/0/ (http://www.monzacarcare.com/car-wax-applicators/monza-sponge-polish-applicator-pad/0/) which really did the job - even on a deeper scratch (nothing to do with us).
