I notice alot of the mk5's are MYXX and the one im about to buy is a KY05, whats the deal with that? is it just where it was registered?

Does it matter where it's registered, as long as it's kosher and looked after?
My GTI was registered in Shrewsbury, I think.... 300 miles away from me! :grin:

of course it doesn't matter where its registered.
in the old style number plates the last two letters were also where it was registered.
for instance: R123 XMY would also be manchester
