A word of warning to all. I have noticed that over the last few years GSF have been scaling down from selling OE quality parts to very inferior quality parts. I am coming accross less OEM brands in their stocks and finding many more unknown companies taking up post.
My own recent example is that of purchasing a rear wiper motor which is made by a company called "Flusser". The first motor I got from them did not even work out of the box. Then the second one I got in exchange only worked for a week and I shall be going there tomorrow for a full refund. I have now sworn never to return to their shores again and shall stick to Euro Car Parts instead.
When you find parts to be cheap, there is usually a downfall...
They will soon fail!

My mechanic swears by GSF.
I aren't so sure, because if *I* buy the parts locally, Euro Car Parts tends to be cheaper for even their better branded stuff. And I end up paying less than my own mechanic does from GSF.
Another thing which puts me right off GSF is when I'm sitting in the comfort of my own home planning on bits I need, their website is tripe. Euro Car Parts is far better.
Saying that all my cambelt stuff, thermostat and numerous filters are from GSF and are fine but mostly MANN stuff :)

You hit the nail on the head. GSF are surely making enough money, yet they can't even invest in making their website more user friendly.
They had to sell me this wiper motor for the advertised price on the website, even though they had officiall put it up by £11.00, but didn't update the listing online.

why the hell go to GSF when the parts is available from TPS .... i heard a few horror stories about GSF ,euro car parts tend to be a safer bet if u dont but genuine parts !

I've found GSF are going to poop as well. They used to sell gaskets individually for my MKII but now you have to buy a complete engine set when all you nee dis a 40p gasket. I now use ECP for all my bits as the service is better and the pricing about the same. THey also do individual gaskets!
