Title: Anni headlight mod..
Post by: SI74 on 09 June 2010, 14:55: What you all think? Sat down with a mate at the w'end and did this Was a real pig of a job as the arm was the wrong shape for the bulb to fit. Also had to fit the mk5 arm to the mk4 base so it would fit the light. Pic's arnt that good so sorry about that.

Post by: SI74 on 09 June 2010, 17:09: Yea please do because as far as I knew the mk4 didnt come with the vw sign and the only other mk4 headlights i saw with this the owner had done it him self as well. If you can get them from VW i'll have to get a set.

No part number..

I used JB weld to put the arm part of the mk5 to the mk4 base.

Post by: SI74 on 10 June 2010, 16:21: I got mines from the local VW breakers.. Look for a car with a smashed headlight its a 2 min job then to get it out.. Polo's come with them as well.
