Title: non smokers pack??

just got a one year old mk6 for the mrs. came with an ashtray and lighter...

can you change same as it was on the mk5 just a rubber base tray and a cap on the 12v socket??

part number would be great if anyone knows!

My MKVI from the factory never came with any option other than the smoking pack which I thought was strange.

really?? shocked at this i thought all cars these days had the option...stopping smoking - being healthy etc...our 56 reg mk5 had no ashtray??

I never got a choice either... it just had an ashtray!
I tore out the insides and fitted a Micro Roadpilot to the inside of the lid - so I wasn't fussed with what I got... as long as it had a lid!!

It was not an option on the option list for the mk6 like it was for the mk5
